El Cid Bowls Club was officially opened in 1988. It has 5 rinks and forms a section of The El Cid Sporting Club. In April 2009, the carpet was lifted and the base was completely recovered with a specialised self levelling compound. The carpet was then re-laid and re-stitched producing a fabulous surface to bowl on. Other facilities of the Sporting Club include a swimming pool and tennis court as well as a restaurant and bar, Also our bowlers comment that it does the best BBQ ever.
